Are you really making all products from scratch?

When we started we like many other craft businesses sourced some of our woods like Acacia, Mapple, Oak from wholesalers across the globe including India and China. The reason was the lack of equipment required to cut, plane, turn or process raw materials. We also procured items like wooden boxes, small leather items in particular the P.U patches for our hats from online companies
We have now expanded our production capabilities beyond the layering business to include machines such as CNC, welders, lathes, mills to our workshop. We also identified local sources for our woods. All the leather you see on our products are sourced from Pennsylvania, Rockies or Texas. The woods are sourced locally from Bower Brothers Board Store in Jacksonville NC, Rockler in Cary NC. Our brass objects and sculptures are melted in house using expanded ammunition casing. Our bronze and copper is also melted in house. The glassware, textiles, hats we procure are sources from US Wholesalers and we refrain from procuring from non US manufacturers or wholesalers. Our custom knives are either made in house or procured from artisans or wholesalers in the USA. Our kitchen products like bread boards in Acacia are slowly replaced by African Mahogany (Sapele), Cherry, Black Walnut or others we can source locally. These products are not finished with synthetic produces but only with FDA approved oils and waxes.
